Update: We completely understand the importance of open house, especially for students who may be in a new school building this year. While we are not able to offer a district-wide open house, individual schools may be able to reschedule tomorrow, although it may be at a different time. You will be notified by your school if that is the case. We are working on additional options as well to give students and parents peace of mind on that first day of school. At this time, more than 15,000 Cullman Electric members are without power, and that includes a number of our schools.

The United Way Stuff the Bus Campaign continues this week! Please consider donating school supplies. Our bus will be parked next to the Cullman County Courthouse all week. Donations are accepted from 8am-4pm. Thanks for making a difference!
Preventative maintenance by our maintenance department! Phillip White spends a big part of the summer cleaning HVAC units. That means lower energy costs, better operation, and unit longevity. Based on this photo (left vs right)... we would say he's getting them pretty clean!
Unfortunately, Stephen Briscoe misspelled "Castilian" and was eliminated from the National Spelling Bee this morning. We're still so proud of your progress! Stephen is only the second Cullman County speller to make nationals in the history of the spelling bee.
