Due to the risk of severe weather, Cullman County Schools will be remote again tomorrow. (Thursday 2/16/23). There is a strong possibility for tornadoes and I believe that parents should be able to make the decision to carry their children to a storm shelter as needed. If storms are not in our area students should use this time to catch up on any school work or spend time practicing their reading. Thank you and please stay safe. - Shane Barnette

Good morning, Vinemont High School's top priorities are student academic performance and student safety. One change in our everyday procedures to protect our students and their academic time is to return to the Cullman County Policy on students checking out of school. Students can only check out if a parent or guardian physically comes to campus and checks them out or if they bring a note to our secretary before the first period of the day with their reason for checking out and the parent's signature. Parents can no longer call and check out their students. In the case of any true emergency, parents can always call and the principal will approve the request. This will take affect next week 9/22/22
