Cullman County Schools and America's First Federal Credit Union recognize a teacher and staff member each month.
Teacher of the Month: Amanda McKenney, Music, Good Hope Primary/Elementary

"Mrs. McKenney is one of the most hard-working teachers at our school. She is committed to teaching all students and has a knack for finding hidden talents in even the shyest students," said Beverly Jenkins, Good Hope Elementary Principal. "She is a positive role model for others and can be found rooting for students and coworkers when they achieve their goals," said Jenkins.
Staff of the Month: Janie White, Secretary, Cullman Area Technology Academy

"Mrs. White has been the gatekeeper for the Cullman Area Technology Academy for several years. Few people know more about CATA than she does. She manages the front office with grace and dignity," said Dr. Susan Patrick, CATA Principal. " She loves CATA and dedicates herself to making it the success that it is today. The staff and students appreciate her more than she will ever know," said Dr. Patrick.
Each employee is awarded a $100 gift card. Cullman County Schools thanks AmFirst for sponsoring this program each month.
